Marilyn Mazur is a well-known multi-instrumentalist whose interests go far beyond ethnic music and jazz. She can be economical, but she can also show a technical 'lion's claw'. In general, it "weighs music" great, and this is a feature of outstanding artists. They met on her talent, incl. Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter or Jan Garbarek. 'Daylight Stories' (including Audun Kleive, Hans Ulrik, Eivind Aarset) is a very spacious, sophisticated album where multiculturalism has been bound together by an engaging, fully original vision of Marilyn Mazur. 'Daylight Stories' is an album that cannot be pigeonholed, music above and beyond stylistic divisions. It's not jazz, it's not folk. And if you have to call it a few words, the easiest way to say is that it is the sound of Marilyn Mazur.
