A brilliant showcase for the arrangement skill of Sebesky, helped of course by fabulous playing from the best of the CTI stars. The moods range from the eerie title track, pop jazz - Skyliner and The Entertainer, jazzed up contemporary classical music (Bela Bartok) to jazz rock, the sign off track Lucky Seven. Michael Brecker and Joe Beck deserve special mention, though the playing is brilliant throughout by everyone involved. - Paul Hensby
